Using the Stowaway keyboard

Dialing numbers

The keyboard may be used to dial phone numbers.

When on the Home screen (Today), pressing a number will input that

number into the dialing program. Pressing a letter will input the number

associated with that number on the phone (e.g., abc=2, tuv=8, etc.).

Character Input

• Commands joined by a dash “–” mean that the key combination must be

pressed in order and with all keys held down at the same time.

• Commands joined by a plus “+” mean that the key following the “+”

must be pressed after the initial key combination is pressed and released.

Menu Navigation

You can access program menus, submenus, and toolbars with the Stowaway

keyboard using the following commands.

NOTE: <Fn>+<number> may also be used to access the corresponding

menu option.

Action Shortcut

Open the Start window Windows key

<Fn>+<Left Spacebar> Emulate Left Soft Key press

<Fn>+<Right Spacebar> Emulate Right Soft Key press

<Fn>+<Enter> Emulate Center Button press

<Fn>+<`> Emulate the Back Key on the phone’s keypad.

<Fn>+<Tab> Generate an ESC
